Te Puke Nurseries grows a range of major kiwifruit varieties, including green, gold and red kiwifruit, together with their specific male pollinators. Select a collection below to explore the varieties currently available.
Due to New Zealand kiwifruit industry biosecurity requirements, Te Puke Nurseries can only supply kiwifruit plants to registered kiwifruit growers with a valid KPIN (Kiwifruit Property Identification Number), or to other appropriately certified KPCS nurseries.
The Kiwifruit Plant Certification Scheme (KPCS), administered by Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH), helps reduce the risk of pests and diseases being spread through the movement of kiwifruit plants. Plant movements must meet KVH biosecurity and traceability requirements.
Your KPIN and orchard delivery details will be required before plants can be dispatched.
Kiwifruit plants cannot normally be supplied directly to home gardeners under standard nursery dispatch requirements. KVH must be contacted before any kiwifruit plants are supplied to a home gardener.
For further information about kiwifruit plant movement, biosecurity requirements and nursery rules, please visit the KVH Nurseries page.
Some kiwifruit varieties are licensed or otherwise protected by New Zealand Plant Variety Rights and may only be propagated, supplied or planted where the applicable licensing requirements have been met.
Please visit our FAQ page for more information about variety licensing, KPIN requirements and purchasing kiwifruit plants.
